Lauren began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Domestic Violence Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. During her tenure, she successfully prosecuted hundreds of serious domestic violence cases, securing convictions through trials and plea negotiations.

After her time at the District Attorney's Office, Lauren was hired as an attorney for the New York City Department of Education's Special Education Unit. In this role, she represented the DOE in special education matters, litigating numerous hearings, handling the negotiation and execution of settlements, and providing legal guidance and support to DOE staff.

Following nearly four years at the DOE, Lauren transitioned to representing parents of children with special needs in 2016, leveraging her in-depth knowledge of special education law to advocate for their rights. She has continued this advocacy ever since.

Lauren is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and the University of Pennsylvania. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
